hey first timer!

we’re chuffed you’re here.

whether you’re new to this kind of movement or just new to Monday Studio, we’ve got you. we’ve pulled together a few tips and tricks to help you feel at home from day one.

    • Whether you’re new to this kind of movement or easing back in after a break, we recommend you start with one of the following classes: Level 1 Reformer Pilates‍, ‍Signature Mat Pilates or Signature Barre.

    • We also offer private 1-to-1 classes. Just get in touch.

    • Interested in trying Reformer Pilates but feeling a little nervous? Firstly, it’s totally normal to feel this way about trying something for the first time! Our Level 1 Reformer classes are absolutely suitable for beginners and you will be in the safest hands with our expert coaches. That being said, if you’d like to take things extra slow, we offer a Complimentary 40-minute Introduction to Reformer session. Everyone in this FREE class is in the same boat as you - a total newbie! We’ll chat through the different parts of the machine, try a few beginner moves if you’re feeling up to it, and answer all of your questions so that you feel confident gliding into your next Level 1 class!

    • Get booked in here. We can’t wait to move with you!

    • Once you select the class you want to join, you’ll be given different pricing options. Pick one that works for you. If you’re brand new to the studio, our Intro Offers are the best way (and value!) to get a feel for the place.

  • Glad you asked!

    Waitlist Policy:

    • If a class is fully booked, you’re welcome to join the waitlist.

    • If a spot becomes available, the first person on the waitlist will be automatically moved into the class up until 2 hours before the class start time. You’ll receive an email notification if you’re added from the waitlist, so keep an eye on your inbox!

    • If you are on the waitlist but can no longer make the class, please make sure you cancel your spot on the waitlist. This opens up a place for someone else and also means you won’t get charged for the class if you get given a spot within our cancellation window (within 24hrs of the class start time).

    Cancellation Policy:

    • Check out our cancellation policy as well as other Terms & Conditions here.

    • A willingness to learn and a sense of humour (it’s cheesy…we know)!

    • Grip socks are highly recommended for Reformer, Mat & Barre classes, as they keep you safe and secure. If you don’t have a pair or forget to bring them, don’t worry. You can purchase our grip socks here or in studio (just ask your coach before class).

    • A water bottle is also highly recommended.

    • A medium-large towel is required if you are joining our Hot Pilates class.

    • Comfortable clothes that you can move and sweat in.

    • A reusable cup is recommended if you fancy a complimentary cup of tea before or after class. We have paper cups available but we like to reduce waste where we can!

  • We’re located smack bang in the heart of Rathmines! Our address is First Floor, 3 Rathmines Road Upper, D06N5K3.

Find us on the first floor above Polonez (down from Tesco, opposite Greenville)!

    We’re well connected by bus (140, 14, 15, 15A, 15B, 83, 83A, S2, 65, 65B), and just a 10-minute walk from Beechwood and Ranelagh Luas stops.

Cycling? There are plenty of bike spaces right across the road.

Driving? The Swan Centre and Tesco car parks are both nearby.

  • You made it to our building, but how do you get in?! Our studio is on the first floor and we change the street-level door code regularly. So be sure to check your booking confirmation email for the latest access code :)

    • It’s best to arrive 10 minutes before your class starts so you can pop your things in one of our lockers, take off your shoes, and float into class feeling relaxed.

    • If you’re new to Reformer, this also leaves time for your coach to chat you through a few reformer machine basics.

    • Once you come through the front door of the building, head up one flight of stairs, through the door and you’ve arrived at Monday Studio - make yourself at home!

    • Pop into our Lounge to leave your things (turn left after the toilets).

    • Head on into your studio room within 10 minutes of your class start time. Your booking confirmation will let you know whether your class is in Studio 1 or Studio 2. Both studios are beside each other in our main corridor.

    • Pick a spot on a mat or machine and take a few minutes to chill before the class gets going. We recommend putting your phone away (or better yet, leaving it in a lounge locker) and taking some time to stretch or simply be still.

    • If you are new or have any injuries, this is a great time to let your coach know. They’re there to support YOU. There’s no such thing as a silly question!

    • As we said, let your coach know of any niggles or injuries, and/or if you’re brand new to the class. We’ll keep an eye on you and modify exercises to support you better.

    • We like to challenge you, but don’t be afraid to take breaks whenever you need. Remember, everyone is at a different stage in their movement journey and what feels right for our bodies can change from day to day.

    • Expect to feel muscles you didn’t know existed (in a good way)! If something doesn’t feel right, just let your coach know. We’ve got your back.

    • Warning: you might leave class feeling taller, stronger, happier…and slightly addicted!

    • Monday Studio is as much about connection as it is about movement. Grab a nourishing cup of tea in the lounge (on us!) and enjoy a post-class, endorphin-fueled natter.

    • We don’t have showers, but you’re welcome to freshen up in our bathroom or lounge.

    • Over the next few days, expect muscles you didn’t know existed to say hello! Stretch, hydrate, and pop back in to move with us when it next feels right.
